With so much attention given to insulin pumps, it’s time to hear from those who choose to stay on injections/inhalations (also called “MDI”).
WHY do you prefer MDI over pump therapy? Please choose your #1 reason.
I prefer not having something on my body all the time.
The pump infusion sets cause me to have skin problems.
I just don’t trust technology enough to delivery my insulin.
The hardware and disposables cost too much.
I find pumps too complex.
I’m doing perfectly fine on MDI! If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
