Take our quiz to test your email smarts

How do you usually tackle your inbox each morning?
An empty inbox is a good inbox...let's just get through this lot ASAP.
I know not to reply to Nigerian Princes, so I'm good.
You can never be too careful! I always verify information outside email rather than clicking on links.

Looks like you missed a parcel delivery! How do you respond to this email?

Ohh! That'll be the eBay goodies I've been waiting on. I'll click immediately and maybe I'll catch tomorrow's delivery.
I am expecting a delivery .... That's the Australia Post logo so it must be OK.
I am expecting a parcel but this email doesn't show the tracking number or anything. I'm going to log in to eBay and check the delivery status from there.

Accounts are due. Better act now or you might get disconnected! How do you respond to this email?

Click and pay right away - I don't want to be the cause of any problems with our suppliers!
Well, it looks official - I should at least click the 'View your Bill' button to check it out.
We've never received the bill like this before ... How do I know that's our account number? I'd better log into our supplier's portal to check our account.
Your statement is ready. Time to check how healthy your credit card is looking this month. How do you respond to this email?
I hope I've got enough credit left to get those shoes I saw yesterday. Where do I click?
Got it. I'll log into internet banking tonight to check it out.
I already know how healthy my credit card is looking.
The Network Administrator sends an email warning of a security breach and asking you to confirm your password via a website link. What should you do?
Immediately enter your password on the website linked in the email. You can always trust emails from your own organisation.
Don't enter your password on the website. Instead, send your reply by email to the sender.
Don't share your password or any other personal information. Report the incident to your IT Service Desk by phone or by emailing them on an address you know to be genuine and ask for their advice.
