Welcome to Escape the Red Room!

All the questions were asked to save a life. The padlock and lockbox won't cause too much strife. The dusty computer and old spare drawer, the wrong answers could haunt you forever more. One final question posed in white, escape from here to see the daylight.

Hopefully you and your partner are like two peas in a pod, thick as thieves, birds of a feather. Maybe even sharing a brain?

The rules for this final quiz are simple:

You are locked in a room. To escape the room, simply answer the questions correctly.
You will have an opportunity to go back and redo any question you think is incorrect. However, I must warn you, spend too long on the questions and you'll pay the price with the swordsman's swing.
Once you've completed the quiz (hopefully with the right answers), submit it and head back to the dining room.
You must remain on Zoom mute for the entire quiz, once you are done, leave the call and join the next room. The link will be sent into quarantine kids and also available at the end of this quiz.

You will not know whether the answers are right, you must trust in your abilities that you've picked up on everything hint I've dropped. Once I receive all of the results from the quiz, I'll join you in the dining room and reveal who gets to leave here alive. (The one who has the most correct answers in the quickest time will win).

Until then, be you the tortoise or be you the hare. The wrong answers can kill, so you best beware.

QUESTION 1: THE PADLOCK

There is a four digit padlock on the chains around your feet, enter the four digit code correctly and you win your freedom. At least the freedom to walk.

QUESTION 2: THE LOCKBOX

You get up and walk across to a large lock box with a directional padlock, you have a choice to input two directions, North, East, South and West. The correct two directions will open the padlock. What is the correct answer to open the lock box?

QUESTION 3: THE DUSTY OLD COMPUTER

The lockbox opened to reveal an old floppy disk. You look around the room and see an old PC gathering dust with a tower computer unit, fitted with a disk drive and floppy disk drive. You boot up the computer and insert the floppy disk. The floppy disk has one file on it, The file is titled '1/26'.

You open the file and it has the following instructions:

One letter on the keyboard will start the printer. The document set to print holds the question to the final puzzle. What is the correct letter?

QUESTION 4: THE SPARE DRAWER

The letter ... Set the printer in motion.

You wait as it slowly churns out the paper you so desperately need to escape this room. You grab the warm paper from the print tray. Lift up the tray for a surprise. Under the printer tray is a small circular battery. You recognise it as big enough to fit into a small flashlight.

You begin searching around the room for anything you may have missed. You open a drawer containing 9 different coloured flashlights.

Red, Green, Orange, Blue, Purple, Pink, White, Yellow and Black flashlights are stuffed into the drawer. You find a note underneath all of the flashlights, 'only one of these are useful. Good luck figuring out which one'.

You begin your search through the flashlights to find out which one of them will turn on. Which flashlight provides the much needed light in this dingy room?

QUESTION 5: ONE LAST PUZZLE.

Finally! You picked the right flashlight! You start casting the light around the room and notice that the room is full of images of you and your fellow dinner guests. You see a trap door, which has been revealed by the harsh glow of the flashlight. You go to open it!

There is one final barrier between you and your freedom. Painted in white on the trap door is the warning and the following riddle,
