Captain Sully, Flight 1549- This photo was taken of the flight that landed in the Hudson River. It lost both of its engines to a group of birds and couldn't make it to the nearest airport. This flight also had to be at a perfect angle in order to not flip over either way when landing on the river. Captain Sully was the famous pilot. This photo was taken by Janis Krums.

9/11- This is a picture of the two flights that crashed into the twin towers of New York City. Almost everyone had to evacuate on boats and hundreds were killed from the building fire, it crashing, them being stuck, jumping off etc. This photo was taken by unknown nut may have been TIME Magazine

Greensboro Sit of 1960- This was a time where a group of college students decided to sit down at a only whites bar. They got arrested but this message spread all over and changed segregation policies. This photo was taken in Greensboro, North Carolina by unknown.
