Which Birth Model Is Right For Me?

How far along are you in your pregnancy?

I've been trying to get pregnant for some time

Please god no. I don't plan on getting pregnant anytime soon

Very early (within the first trimester)

What is your level of concern or anxiety regarding delivery?

Low: I feel prepared and excited to go through this experience

Moderate: I understand there will be pain and am slightly apprehensive

High: I feel completely unprepared and quite nervous about pain or possible consequences

Through the actual roof: I pass out when I think about it

How would you describe your financial situation?

Stable: I and/or my partner are prepared to financially commit to raising a child and have the funding

Mid-range: I understand the financial commitment, but may have to cut corners on certain aspects of life to raise my child

Unstable: I and/or my partner do not have steady sources of income

How many complications have you had during this pregnancy?

None,

Other than some discomfort, very minimal

My doctor had concerns at one point in my pregnancy

Two or more health scares, or a large prenatal concern/event

How important is pain relief during your delivery?

I will not opt for a spinal block, epidural, or pain medication during my delivery

I'd probably like a major anesthetic

I'd like to see how far into labor I can get without intervention, but want it available if I change my mind

Give me the drugs three days beforehand, please and thank you

How comfortable are you in a medical or clinical setting?

I have no problem interacting with doctors or medical professionals, and feel safer under their watch

I like the idea of doctors, but find it hard to decipher some medical jargon and feel comfortable with impersonable touch or contact

I do not feel sale in a hospital or clinical setting

How would you like to give birth?

My perfect delivery happens in a tub, surrounded by my family and candles

I'd like an experienced hand to guide me through, but allow me to follow my instincts

I literally could not care less, please get this baby out of me
