Who do you want to be EGLS's 1L Senator

Candace Pearson "As a 1L senator, I would focus on helping this club grow and expand its impact. The energy field is constantly changing and I want students to look to us to learn about the types of opportunities that exist. I come from an energy efficiency background where I’ve worked on drafting energy performance contracts and researched green technology product liability. I would love to introduce the contacts that I’ve made in green building to VLS and would work hard to make our events as well-rounded and bad-a** as possible."

Justin Somclofske "Hello EGLS members, my name is Justin Somelofske and I am running for one of the 1L Senator positions in the club. As we discussed on Thursday, every candidate is passionate about the energy industry and has accrued varying degrees of experience. There truly is no wrong choice to make. Ultimately, our participation in ELS will compliment our resumés and bolster our job prospects in the energy industry, and I aspire to further develop this club to ensure it has a significant impact on all of our futures and our advocacy abilities. I am very excited to be a member of this club and look forward to continue collaborating with everyone within the Energy Law Society."

Adi Halevi "Hey! I am excited to be considered to be the 1L senator of the VLS Energy Law Society. As the EGLS is growing, it is important to increase awareness of the Energy Law Society on campus. Having events surrounding energy topics and issues would be a great start to getting more students involved, and I am certain I would be successful in getting a few such sessions organized. Additionally, a newsletter about a "hot topic" involving energy is another fun way to spread awareness of what the EGLS is all about. I would be honored to be the 1L senator of the EGLS!"
