To take or not to take a gap year?

How do you feel about starting higher education next year?

I am so ready!

Kinda nervous and excited at the same time

Uncertain - I'm applying because it's what I'm "supposed to do"

Burnt out - not sure I'm ready for another 4 years of all-nighters*

Do you know what you want to do when you are older?

Totally I’ve got all planned out.

I have some ideas but I’m still figuring it out*.

Why does everyone keep asking me that? I don’t know yet.

How do you feel about travelling abroad?

I haven’t travelled much but I would like to!

I love it! It's enriching*!

It makes me nervous, I don't like to get out of my comfort zone.

What would be your biggest concern about taking a gap year?

Cost. I am not sure I know how to budget my money.

Being homesick because I am very close to my family and friends

Being off track academically

No concerns! I am so ready for it!

The language barrier. Is Frenglish an option?

Being left to my own devices* because I am very reliant on* my parents

If you took a gap year, what would be your biggest goal?

Figure out* who I really am and what I want out of life.

Gain maturity and some real-world experience.
