What is copyright?
The exclusive legal right, given to an originator or an assignee to print, publish, perform, film, or record literary, artistic, or musical material, and to authorize others to do the same.
The right and freedom to use copy machines and printers whenever and however one chooses to.
The right to copy someone on a quiz, test, project, etc. Without consequences.
Something that only authors and inventors use when writing their books and creating new items
What is plagiarism?
Something that only unintelligent people do when they don't know the answer to something
The practice of taking someone else's work or ideas and passing them off as one's own
Something that can only happen when stealing physical objects, NOT words or ideas
What is credit?
The ability of a customer to obtain goods or services before payment, based on the trust that payment will be made in the future.
An entry recording a sum received, listed on the right-hand side or column of an account.
The ascription or acknowledgment of something as due or properly attributable to a person, institution, etc.
Given the ability to do whatever you want whenever you want to do it, by an authority figure.
What is to cite?
To mention in support, proof, or confirmation; refer to as an example
To summon someone to appear in a court of law.
A website that is used in support of an argument
To go to a website and enter the URL of the source you chose
