Learning Values Self Assessment - Responding to Feedback

I always get bad marks

Nothing I seem to do makes any difference to my grades.

If the work is hard, I will probably get a low mark.

I am always pleased with a mark for a task/assignment.

I know I can always improve.

I enjoy receiving feedback about my work.

When I get a piece of work back all I care about is the grade.

I think reflecting and goal setting is a waste of time.

I find it difficult to think about what I have done in the past.

I take the time to consider my teacher’s comments and use them to improve.

I self-check my work before handing it in for assessment

I value the reflection time that my teachers give me to work on self improvement.

I get upset about my marks quite often

I often feel like the teacher is giving me negative feedback.

I am not confident to hand incomplete work in for fear of failure.

Even if I am disappointed in a grade, I see the value in the comments.

I’m not a high achiever, but I am progressing.

If I get upset about a mark or piece of feedback, it doesn’t take long for me to feel ok again.
