Sometimes we are given more than one task to complete at a time. The term 'multi-tasking' means to work on more than task at once. Does multi-tasking improve focus?
Yes- it means I can get my work done more quickly.
No- it is easier to get overwhelmed or make mistakes.
There are times where we HAVE to multi-task. What are ways we can multi-task properly?
Use a prioritisation strategy such as the “Traffic Light Strategy” to order your tasks.
Start with the most important task first.
Finish one task before starting another.
Check the procedure of how to complete the task so you don't forget anything.
