We are delighted to announce the voting for the New Board of ESN Liechtenstein. Here is a small description of all the candidates you are about to choose and the tasks/positions they would like to take.
- Maximilian Fichtenbauer (President)
Since February 2019 my job is to take care of the student dormitory. On a constant basis, I interact with 70 students coming from around 35 nations. Besides the social skills deriving from the actual work, it is the case that I have a lot of experience in terms of interaction with incoming exchange students because they all live at the dorms. It is part of my job to have close communication with ESN during the intro-week. Therefore, it would make the introduction and the life of new exchange-students a lot easier, if I had insight from both sides.
During my time at Uni Liechtenstein, I participated and organized a variety of events. Most of them have been in close association to START Vaduz. Being this club’s member and vice president for almost 2 years, I was involved at the organization of: Semester START Party, 4 x Pioneersclub, Road to START Summit and running a stand at the Fürstenfest.
Both my job and the voluntary work have led to the third point: Network. After experiencing 4 intro-weeks and organizing at least 10 events it came to the situation that there is barely a department at the Uni, which I did not interact with. I always had a close relationship especially with the members of Spinnerei and ULSV.
In conclusion, I feel it is important to point out that my experiences, both on a professional and personal level within the sphere of our university, would act as a very useful asset to ESN.
- Sebastian Matt (President)
I’m currently in the fourth semester of the business administration program and I’m strongly interested in the position of the President of ESN Liechtenstein. I think I’d be a good fit for that position because of my open personality and experience as a board member of the International Association (國際交浝坔會) in Taipei during my exchange semester. There, I was responsible for the organization of a two-day hiking tour and helped to organize the end of semester party (which by the way was a great success ;)). Furthermore, I’ve worked half a year as an assistant at the VP Bank in the private banking department during my bank apprenticeship and co-organized several client events. Therefore I have some solid experience regarding the organization of events and coordination of people. Additionally, I’m going to apply for the student assistant job in the International Office, which will further reduce communication channels within ESN Liechtenstein.
I want to get involved in ESN because I find joy in interacting with a diverse range of people from different cultures and backgrounds. In my opinion, we are quite privileged with the flexibility in ESN Liechtenstein, so I want to utilize that to it’s fullest potential and use fresh ideas to create unique and unforgettable moments!
- Marisela Romero (Vice President)
My name is Marisela Romero. I would like to be part of the ESN board, and I am interested in the Vice president position.
I come from Lima, Peru. Currently, I am in my second semester of studies in the Architecture Master program. As an international student, I like to meet and work with people from around the world and different cultural backgrounds. As an architect, I have aesthetics and design skills that can contribute to the organization of ESN events. Furthermore, I see myself as an organized and extremely motivated person with extraordinary abilities in communication, personal relations, and teamwork. I believe these skills and abilities are valuable in the organization and administrative work of events and meetings. I consider myself a committed and dedicated young woman who can actively contribute to ESN work as a board member.
- Megha Shrestha (National Representative)
Hello! I am Megha Shrestha (MBA) and I come from Nepal, currently pursuing Masters in Information Systems in UniLi, 2nd Semester. I have applied for the position of National Representative. I have had the opportunity to represent Hotellieriesussie (Hotels association in Switzerland) for around 3.5 years, in more than 20 countries where my main responsibility was to represent the school in international events, conferences and partnerships. I believe that I will be a good support for the board of ESN as a National Representative.
- Leonard Nduwayo (Treasurer)
I am interested in applying for a Treasurer position within ESN Liechtenstein. I am currently student in master’s in information system. The reason why am applying to this position is because of my background where I did this position also in Rwandan Diaspora in India for one year(1year), And am also MBA (Masters in Business Administration) graduate. Back to my country I have worked in short period related field, all those make me a suitable candidate for this position. I like to work as a team and trying to make something innovative in my responsibilities. I will be happy if I get chance to be one of the ESN Board members.
- Vasileios Ntousis (IT Manager)
Hi all, my name is Vasilis,28 years old and I am master student in the Information Security Domain, currently at my 3rd semester willing to be the IT Manager of the ESN Liechtenstein team.
Despite spending hours in a dark, well aired room wearing my hoodie and sitting infront of a computer I enjoy long hikes, gymnastics, cooking and hanging out with friends.
I would like the role of IT manager since is a field that I am familiar and I could contribute to the digital persona of the ESN Liechtenstein.
