What are the TDLs role and responsibilities?
Ensure that quality standards and processes are strictly adhered to
Produce cost for the project estimate
Ensure that status reports are generated and delivered on time to stakeholders, ensuring accuracy of data being reported
Assess performance of each resource in the team, provide appropriate feedback and coaching
Ensure project meets identified SLAs
To attend every meeting arranged in/for the project
Allocate, manage & direct Test Planning and Execution tasks
Ensure all the mail/report to client are sent by TDL only
Liaise with the Service Coordinator (SC) to understand scope of work.
Ensure optimal utilization of resources in the team.
Identify productivity improvement opportunities
Meet project deadlines.
Proactively anticipate and mitigate risks

What is an integral part of communication standards at TCoE?
Arrange meeting anytime on a day before Disney Holiday
Always make sure to send minutes of meeting specially where TCoE is chairing the meetings
When client provide comments on report/defects or have any other ask then always acknowledge client that you are working/taking actions (details) if you think it will take longer time to resolve comments
Do not highlight risk and issue in daily status emails and use weekly status report for highlighting risk and issues.
TDLs should be aware of all SLAs e.g. Test creation, Test execution, Test closure, Spotlight, RCA, Performance Testing, Automation etc.
In any client introduction, introduce yourselves as member of DTSS TCoE and Accenture
When you/your team is submitting requests for access that requires an approval from Mike Bochard, please clearly enter the justification for the access
Arrange meeting with clients at least 2 days in advance
If we are not getting responses for emails e.g. Sign off requests, queries, support on blockers then we must arrange calls with the client.
For blockers, it is not a good practice to send one-liner emails e.g. We are blocked by X defect. Provide details on defect/issue and whom does it belong to and impact. Highlight the risk if blocker can impact timelines.
Be prepared for the meeting I.e. Know the agenda, your role, what outcome you want to get out of the meeting etc.
Never say no to the client on the call and respond such things only via emails
What are the TCoE standards with respect to Out Of Office updates?
It is fine if you provide a back-up resource details who is also on planned vacation at the same time when you are on vacation
Set the Calendar invite for full day when you are on leave and select show calendar as Free
Make sure to update vacation tracker after approval of leaves from Supervisor
Optional/Flexible holiday does not need supervisor approval
No need to mention when you will be back from vacation if you have provided a back-up contact
It is fine if you set the OOO on Disney email only and not Accenture as we use Disney email for client communication

Check the spellings and Grammar before Sending meeting invite.
Include email addresses of attendees in the invitee list of the webex meeting because it would appear to the invitees that the invite came from Mike
Use Accenture email ID to send emails and meeting invites to client
Include dial-in numbers for all the regions that are included in the default LYNC online meeting
Rely on onshore counterpart to pull IDC resource into the call if it has to be joined by dialing a phone number
Change the time zone on Webex
The Meeting invite should have appropriate Subject
Respond to meeting invite, I.e. “Accepted, Declined, tentative, Propose New Time
The Invite should have appropriate signature

What all details need to be provided when flagging a risk issue?

Select the guidelines for TDLs that apply to Spotlight creation.
€¢ Make note of challenges and achievements during the period when projects is active, because there are high chances that by the time project gets completed one might forget many of challenges
€¢ SCs to ensure there is no spelling mistakes, grammatical errors and formatting related discrepancies
€¢ When listing DTSS TCoE Value Delivered, be clear about the value that TCoE delivered. Each bullet needs to explain the action taken and the result obtained
€¢ Challenge and result of value delivered should be quantified/tangible where applicable e.g. Scope was high and timelines were tight is not a correct way to highlight challenge as one cannot measure it. It should highlighted as Test scope increased by 30% as compared to last release whereas timelines and resource remained same
€¢ Highlighting value delivered is SCs responsibility
