How does a customer check their balance?

You ring something in, go through to the payment area, scan their gift card and tell them their balance

They go to "checkmygiftcardbalance.com" and enter in their qr code variables and the website tells them their balance

The customer scans the qr code with their phone and is directed to a website where their balance is shown

Nothing, they can't.

Does the gift card work in all 3 locations?

Only digital gift cards
