Shared spaces (i.e DropBox, message board, etc.) are used to ensure all partners have access to team project materials

All stakeholders use culturally sensitive approaches to communication
Community members and team members are full equals in the decision-making process and inform all work
All partners have a direct line to project leadership to voice their perspectives
Team members actively seek out non-traditional partner input, especially if this voice is missing from the conversation
The team addresses power imbalances head on and forms two-way respect early in the partnership
How are the make-up and processes of your team influenced by the patient community?
Our team has respect for cultural components of research and training programs are used when needed
The community co-develop outreach and dissemination activities used to share results
In group meetings, the patient's voice is boosted to make sure the conversation is centered around the patient community
