What Kind of Parent of You?

Your child comes home with a boy/girl and says they are their new spouse. How do you react?

You're upset they didn't talk to you first, but overall, you only care if they're happy.

You're mad they didn't consult you, and you only care if they are of a higher class.

You don't really care, and all you can do is give them money to help, so that's what you do.

You’re more nonchalant than you are happy for them, but you don’t oppose their decision either.

Money is running low in the family and your child asks why they didn’t have dinner. How do you respond?

You do your best to get some money together (that could have been used for other needed things) and go out to get them food.

You get mad and tell them to go find something on their own.

You apologize for not having it done and give them money to get food.

You explain how God is trying and testing our strengths everyday.

You get your kid a present for their birthday and they don’t like it. What do you do?

You take one of your prized possessions and exchange it for something that you know they'll like more, even though you might not have the money.

Tell them to stop complaining about everything and tell them if they don't like it, they won't get a present again.

You don't care, so you give them money to suffice for their "inconvenience".

Tell them to be grateful for what they have and make sure they know that others have it worse.

Your child gets in a fight with another kid and injures him/her badly. What do you do?

Make sure they are okay and give them care and aid.

Condemn them for getting in a fight with others, and make sure to tell them not to do it again.

Tell them it makes them look bad as well as your family and get someone else to care for them.

Get ready to defend your child with your life from the family sure to come for retribution, even if you are disappointed in them.

Your child comes home 3 hours past their curfew. What do you do?

You get mad, but don't show it. You explain the importance of respecting your parents.

You don't mind at all, and you're either asleep or out later than them.

Scold them for being out so late and forbid them from leaving the house without your permission.

Asks if they were in trouble, tells them not to worry her like that again, checks one more time to make sure they’re okay.
