If you choose the colder weather, you receive a big jacket, gloves, and a stocking cap so you don't freeze to death. If you choose the hotter weather, you will receive light clothes and a water bottle.
For example, in some video games such as League of Legends or Runescape, players can choose between multiple combat classes. Some classes have characters who attack at close range with their sword or fists, while other combat classes use range or mage to attack their opponent from a distance. Which do you prefer?
The definition of toughness is how well you do at dealing with pain.
Physical toughness is how good you are at dealing with physical pain and the more physically tough you are, the better you are at dealing with physical pain. Examples of being physically tough are having a high pain tolerance and being able to push through physical pain.
Mental toughness is the ability to deal with mental pain and adversity. Examples of mental toughness include the ability to handle stress well without it destroying you, the ability to bounce back from tough times, and knowing how to cope in healthy ways when the going gets tough.
Not sure if you're fast?
Imagine you lined up 100 people of the same age and gender as you and everyone raced 40 yards. If you're fast, you should be confident that you can place in the top 25 and if you're really fast, you should be confident that you can place in the top 10.
Do you consider yourself to be physically strong?
Not sure if you're physically strong or not? Here are some general baselines to determine whether or not you're physically strong.
If you're strong, you should be able to do all of the following:
- Either bench press 210+ pounds or bench press 1.25x your bodyweight. (165 pounds or 1x your bodyweight for women)
- 30+ pushups without stopping. (25+ for women)
If you're very strong, you should be able to do all of the following:
- Either bench press 250+ pounds or bench press 1.5x your bodyweight for one time. (180 pounds or 1.25x bodyweight for women)
- 45+ pushups without stopping. (35+ for women)
