It’s been a blistering summer, at least in the Northern Hemisphere. That means potential for sunburn, heatstroke, and insulin spoilage.

When you’re enjoying the outdoors, what do you do to protect your insulin from the heat?

I don’t worry about it. If it spoils, it spoils.

I just keep my insulin vial/pen/pump out of direct sunlight and don’t leave it in the car.

I limit my time outdoors to no more than a few minutes when it’s really hot out.

I keep my insulin vial/pen/pump in a cool container.
