Consent Form. Facebook is a platform for users to engage with their friends, family, and romantic partner. However, some users use the platform for other purpose like engaging in information gathering, stalking, and monitoring others. To understand the reason for these behaviours, data will be collection so that a thorough understanding can be established regarding intrusiveness. The data will be used to generate an answer for are Facebook users too intrusive. Monitoring in this context is when a user is using social media for keeping tabs on their peers. Through completing this questionnaire, you are helping to solve the issue around Facebook intrusiveness. Your information will be stored and processed in line with the GDPR (2018) principles and your right to transparency and confidentiality will be ensured. However, you do have the right to withdraw at any time by simply closing the web browser.
