While I don't need to change their mind, they just have to understand my side. I already know I'm right.
They're wrong and I need them to understand why and how they're wrong.
They may be wrong, but I really don't have time to start anything, especially over something so petty.
My opinion doesn't matter if it means you'll stop trying to talk to me.
