Why is it important we reduce how often we put out our landfill bin?
It’s likely that a lot of what’s in there could be recycled, composted, reused or avoided altogether.
Holding your landfill (or any) bin reduces the fuel consumption, carbon emissions, and truck wear and tear caused by collection.
Councils will see many of us do not need weekly collection and could change systems to be more environmentally friendly
