Let them figure it out on their own and take credit for it later.

Do not let your team know that you are leaving, and text them 5 minutes before that you have diarrhea.

Apologize for the inconvenience and assure them that you will do your part. If anything, do more.

Find a way to meet up with the people running the event and do part of the work before hand.

Convince your parents to reschedule your flight for tomorrow and attend the event.

One of your group members doesn’t participate in anything. What would you do?

Forcefully tell them to do their part and they reluctantly do their work.

Continue to do all the work yourself and then write them a detailed evaluation towards the end of the project for your professor.

The group takes on a majority of the work but gives that member only a little bit of work to accomplish

The group confronts the member and finds out they were just confused. After explaining the project, everyone participates.
