Which birth model is right for me?

How far along are you in your pregnancy?

I am not pregnant, but have been trying for some time

Early (within first trimester)

Farther along (second or third trimester)

Oh please god no- I don't plan on getting pregnant any time soon

How many complications have you had during this pregnancy?

None!

My doctor was concerned about some test results at some point, suspicions and concerns have since been dispelled

What is your level of anxiety concerning labor and delivery?

Low: I feel prepared, excited, and in the right mindset to go through this experience

Slightly apprehensive: I understand there will be pain and am slightly nervous about how it will play out

High: It's all I can think of

Through the actual roof: I did not think about the pain of childbirth before I actually got pregnant

How do you feel about doctors offices?

I am very comfortable in a clinical setting

I trust doctors, but want more guidance than instruction

I do not feel comfortable in hospitals or a medical room of any sort

One word: needles.

How would you describe your financial situation?

Stable: my partner and I recognize and are prepared to provide for my child

Mid-range: having a child will be a stretch, but I am employed and will be able to ultimately afford it

Unstable: I do not have a steady source of income

How important is pain relief to you?

I do not want pain medication during delivery

I would like to have the option of medication if I change my mind, but would like to progress as far as possible without it

I will definitely want pain medication

Give me the rugs three days beforehand please and thank you

How would you most like to give birth, in a perfect world?

In a tub, surrounded by candles, my loved ones, and a calm atmosphere

I'd like to have some amenities available to me, but with a guiding hand

I do not care please get that baby out of me
