Check all the new mechanics in Mythic about orb running
Two orbs have to run at a time
There are brambles that root you on the pathway to run the orb
If you take too long to run the orb, you die
You cannot use abilities/are silenced with the orb.
You can only run the orb once per fight
Orbs need to be deposited at the same time
Need to run orbs a total of 9 times
You take wave of corruption DoT stacks up top
You MUST be at your orb BEFORE the previous group turns it in
In P1, what are the new Mythic mechanics?
Ghuun adds that fixate players spawn after an enemy dies
Must soak boils in P1 or you get mind controlled
Must interrupt tentacles at lower HP because they get damage stacks the longer they are alive
Mushrooms now spawn that you need to dodge
There are 12 debuffs of explosive corruption that go out at a time (contagious balls)
During beam phase, there is a place we all stack to deal with the Ghuun adds
Group 4 will already start going to their lane during beam phase
Tentacles gain damage stacks the longer they channel, so wait 2 seconds, then interrupt. A free casting tentacle will 1 shot someone.
In P2, what are the new Mythic mechanics?
There are Boils. The closest 2 people to these red humps soak them and get a debuff. Getting 2 stacks of this debuff by soaking 2 boils will get you Mind Controlled.
There are a total of 4 Blood Feast adds this phase.
Bloodfeast adds take reduced damage if they are not on grey corruption
Blood Feast adds respawn after a set amount of time
Blood Feast adds drop grey corruption on the ground that spawns Ghuun adds.
Blood feast adds now cast explosive corruption, spawning orbs from them.
Blood feast adds must be killed before their 3rd cast or they wipe the raid
We have to beam Ghuun twice to get out of phase 2.
Mushrooms now spawn that you need to dodge.
Guilds usually assign their dps a Quadrant so that each Quadrant is responsible for soaking boils/spreading for wave of corruption.
There are gnarly overlaps with Bloodfeast and Soaking Boils, where 2 people might need to go out to soak and not clear their stacks.
This is a very healing intensive phase.
How do we deal with intermission Earthquakes?
We stack as a group, and bait them, running from 1 side of the instance to the other (kinda like mythrax beam, but on a larger scale)
We spread as much as possible to take the least damage
There are a total of 2 earthquakes that spawn on player locations
For the last earthquake, we stack for barrier
Ghuun can now take damage during this intermisison
We stack on the right side to bait, move to left to bait, then stack back on right for last earthquake
What's new about the last phase?
There are boils. Thats the only new mechanic
BUT ITS FUCKING HARD GUYS. WITH THE PIZZA SLICES COMING OUT WE GOTTA BE ON FLEEK
This is the hardest part of the fight
It lasts 1 minute 30 seconds, and we save all dmg cooldowns, including lust.
There are going to be up to 6 wave of corruption for this phase
You can stack during this phase as long as there is no wave of corruption.
THERE WILL BE FUCKING BOILS IN THE MUSHROOMS, that need to be soaked by immunities
The most mobile/ burst classes excel in this phase
This phase is so fucking tight that most guilds use augment runes on it.
