The Sorting Hat Never Lies!

It is an ordinary day at Hogwarts. You're mucking around in the potions classroom after class, and find that you have created a never seen before concoction, that is a glistening purple colour. You decide to test what it does, and take a goblet full. Later in the evening, you find out that the potion has given you the craziest of effects- you suddenly have no troubles whatsoever doing your homework and feel generally as if you know knowledge you didn't before. You've found out that you accidentally brewed a potion that makes you knowledgeable instantaneously, something that will no doubt improve your grades and ultimately lead you to greatness. Scrap the potion. You're not a cheat or a rat, and if you find one day that you can't take the potion anymore that you will surely fail in all of your classes.

Bottle the potion. Your best friend is failing a class and you want them to succeed, you know that they would benefit greatly from a little push. It's not a crime, you're just trying to show that you care about their future.

Take bottles and bottles of the potion back to your Common Room. Good grades for everyone, it's lit! Bring the butterbeer.

Note down the ingredients and method for the potion, but spend hours during the night turning into the reverse- so certain people you know WON'T pass their classes...
