Training Camp Coach Survey - Pro-Athletes Coaching Athletes

You consider yourself a "Critical Thinking" coach, where you question everything, assume nothing, and evaluate everything you coach?

You believe and participate in continuous coach education and development?

You believe that professional athletes inherently know and understand everything necessary to ethically coach all development levels?

You feel pro-athletes are competent to coach others safely without developmental risks, injuries or re-injury?

You feel that "Fantasy-Style Camps" are often mainly a "social ops" for athletes to meet their sports stars? Not much meaningful long-term development retention?

You feel fantasy-style camp pro athletes generally discuss hypotheticals or Intangibles I.e. Strategy & Tactics sessions, Mental Preparation, Nutrition & other Ancillary Capacities difficult to measure and therefore empirically hard to audit at camp

You feel double standards or conflicts of Interests exist; I.e. Coach Insurance, Sports laws regulations, Coaches code of conduct, code of ethics? Coaches are held to conduct, ethics & performance under penalty of sanction, while others performing our role are not held to any benchmark of conduct I.e. Police Check, Education, Performance?

You believe that athletes should be developed by qualified/certified coaches from accredited National programs.

You feel coaches may be professional athletes but professional athletes are not necessarily coaches.
