ORAL COMMUNICATION

Communication is a process.

Communication has a sender but no receiver.

Encoding converts the message into words, actions, or other forms the speaker understands.

Decoding is the process of interpreting the encoded message of the speaker by the receiver.

The barrier is the factors that affect the flow of communication.

Communication is repeatable. We may say the same thing repeatedly, but the effect of what you said the second, third, or fourth time will differ from the first time.

Your language should be appropriate to the environment or occasion.

Words that vividly or creatively describe things or feelings usually add color and spice to communication.

Verbal communication refers to an interaction where behavior conveys and represents meanings.
