Scenario: Which type of bias is this? Jack wants to apply to be a POD leader as he benefitted greatly from the system and feels confident that he has the experience and motivation to help new joiners. However, he ends up not applying after finding out that his colleagues who are more extroverted and have better networks are also interested. He believes that as the POD leaders he had were all similarly outgoing, he will not be a good fit.

Scenario: 2 weeks after you officially join the team after FT1, your colleague Susan comes back from a 3-month leave. You are aware that her medical leave was due to mental health reasons. This is her first day back. How would you welcome her back to the team?
