The ceremony starts at 5pm. What time should you arrive?

Midway through the night, one of your speakers starts buzzing very loudly. It’s very distracting. What do you do?

It’s 10:30pm. There hasn’t been a single person on the dance floor in the last hour. You are set to play until midnight. What do you do?

You’re looking over the timeline, planning form and request list before calling the couple. You notice they’ve allotted 4 1/2 hours for dancing. You know this is way too much time and there will inevitably be an empty dance floor for a long time. Would you say anything to them on the phone and if so, what would you tell them?

You’ve working your first authentic Indian wedding. You haven’t heard of 90% of the songs on their Must Play List. How do you approach the dance floor?

The venue has set a candle on your table to make it look nicer. Right as the bride is walking down the aisle, the wind blows the candle over and sets the table cloth on fire. Your laptop is ruined. What do you do now? How do you prevent this from ever happening in the first place?

The groom is hammered late in the night. He comes over to your table to request a song and spills his beer all over your laptop. You can no longer play music from your laptop. What do you do now and how do you prevent this from ever happening in the first place?

On your call with the bride, she let you know that her father will want to give a lengthy toast but she is very insistent that it does not go over 5 minutes. How do you approach this situation and what do you do if/when the toast exceeds the 5 minute mark?

The Best Man and Groom are police partners. During the Best Man’s toast, he begins to tell a tongue & cheek story of how he and the groom framed a man for murder by planting a bullet in his car because they “knew this guy was a thug.” Some people in the crowd act horrifically. Others, including the bride and groom, are laughing. What do you do?
