FBA stands for

The FBA focuses beyond the demonstrated behaviour, to identifying different factors such as social, biological, affective and environmental.

The purpose of the FBA is to provide data information the support team to design positive learning support plans.

Collect information on possible functions of the target behaviour, using direct and indirect measures are scatter plot, ABC chart, interview, observation.

The FACTS is usually up to a 30 minutes interview.

The FBA looks beyond a student’s behaviour and focuses on identifying academic factors that can lead to problematic behaviour.

The FBA is a quick, one-step way to gather details about events that predict and maintain a student's problem behaviour.
