The National Government only pays for 5% of the FCPS Operating Budget, which directly influences teacher compensation. The national government has the largest budget of all forms of goverment. It is the national government’s duty to introduce budget reform to increase spending to 7% of the FCPS Op. Budget in order to increase teachers salaries.

The FCPS Operating Budget receives the majority of its money from county property tax. The County should increase property tax to increase FCPS funding.
