How do you introduce a subject to your students?
I lecture. While lecturing I do not ask my students any questions. In the end, they are free to ask questions if they haven’t understood something.
I lecture most of the time but sometimes I ask them some questions to initiate a small discussion. They are free to ask a question if they haven’t understood something.
My class is part lecture from me, part discussion with my students. They are free to ask their own questions at any given moment.
I usually start with a little lecturing, but the biggest part of the class is focused on discussion and students’ questions.
My students do all the talking; I only introduce to them the subject and ask them some preliminary questions. I support them when needed.
What kind of hands-on activities do you do in your class?
Our hands-on activities are completely guided. I provide my students with a thorough step-by-step guide they have to follow.
Our hands-on activities are mostly guided. Students are provided with a detailed guide but in some parts they are free to make their own choices.
In our hands-on activities I only provide my students with a basic line of work but they are free deviate from it whenever they want.

How much time do you spend on lecturing vs hands-on activities
I only do lectures.

I never lecture. We go straight to a hands-on activity.
