What is Carrier Freedom?

You can get the Assisted Support charge (if applicable) waived when you Bring Your Own Device (BYOD), and port in at least 1 eligible number on a newly activated voice or mobile internet line on any rate plan. Only lines that BYOD are eligible for this promotion, up to 5 lines.

Verizon, AT&T, UScellular, Claro, Xfinity Mobile and Spectrum Mobile customers who port over to T-Mobile can keep their eligible phone and we'll reimburse them for their remaining device payment plan (up to $650) via Virtual Prepaid MasterCard!

This program lets existing customers receive a $50 Virtual Express Prepaid MasterCard for referring friends and family to open a new postpaid account with T-Mobile.

You can get up to $650 per line via rebate card and device trade in credits) when they sign up for qualifying service including an eligible port-in, purchase a new phone or tablet, and trade in a phone or tablet.

Must trade-in an eligible phone or tablet and it must be started with order/activation.

Ensure your phone is unlocked and ready to go on our network. Check your phone’s compatibility here . For customers with phones locked to the carrier (AT&T, Claro, Spectrum & Xfinity) this means you will have to pay off your phone, request unlock, and wait for your unlock request to be granted (typically takes 1-3 days) prior to bringing your number over.
