Make sure the radio is in working order

Fuel the minibus at Kwik Trip with the provided payment card if the fuel tank is near or below 1/2 tank
How should a VPI staff member properly load a passenger in a wheelchair using the lift system?
Lift system is flat on ground, apply weight to system if needed for front latch to go down, place wheelchair on lift system, put on brakes on the wheelchair, buckle the seatbelt on lift system, if possible, ask client to hold onto yellow hand rails
Passenger should load themselves on the lift
In the event of a passenger's injury that leads to a blood spill, the driver must stop and safely park the minibus, ask other passengers to stay away from the spill, and and then
Ask the passenger if he/she is feeling good enough to wait for assistance until the bus gets to the intended destination
Administer first aid to the passenger, call for emergency 911 assistance if needed, put on personal protective gloves and goggles in first aid kit, clean the spill with cleaning supplies stored with the first aid materials, and dispose the waste in proper receptacles
Ask the passenger sitting near the injured passenger to provide first aid assistance
Drop the injured passenger off at the nearest VPI office
