Ice Breaker Quiz - ICC Women's T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier

1. When there is a free hit (same batsman facing and no fielding breach) the field cannot change but the exchange of individuals between fielding positions is permitted.

2. After the fall of a wicket or the retirement of a batter, the incoming batter must, unless Time has been called, be in position to take guard or for the other batter to be ready to receive the next ball within 1 minute 30 seconds of the dismissal or retirement. If this requirement is not met, the incoming batter will be out, Retired out.

3. Only those nominated as substitute fielders shall be entitled to act as substitute fielders during the match, unless the ICC Tournament Referee, in exceptional circumstances, allows subsequent additions.

4. All covers (including “hessian” or “scrim” covers used to protect the pitch against the sun) shall be removed not later than 2 hours before the scheduled start of play provided it is not raining at the time, but the pitch will be covered again if rain falls prior to the commencement of play.

5. The umpires are responsible for ensuring that play is conducted within the Spirit of Cricket, as well as within these Playing Conditions.

6. No penalty time will incur if the player leaves the field because of external injury.

7. In all matches where the start of play is delayed or play is suspended, the scheduled hours of play shall be extended up to a maximum of 30 minutes.

8. It is for the umpires and Match Referee together to decide whether either conditions of ground, weather or light or exceptional circumstances mean that it would be dangerous or unreasonable for play to take place.

9. The minimum over rate to be achieved in T20I Matches shall be 16 overs per hour.

10. The captains shall toss a coin for the choice of innings, on the field of play and under the supervision of the ICC Tournament Referee or match umpires, not earlier than 30 minutes, nor later than 15 minutes before the scheduled or any rescheduled time for the start of play.

11. During the second Powerplay overs, no more than 4 fielders shall be permitted outside the fielding restriction area.

12. Only nominated players in the match (excluding Concussion Replacements) may participate in the Super Over.

13. The captain of the fielding team (or her nominee) shall select the ball with which the fielding team shall bowl its over in the Super Over from the box of spare balls provided by the umpires (which shall include the balls used in the match and new balls).

14. If one bail is off, it shall be sufficient for the purpose of putting the wicket down to remove the remaining bail or to strike or pull any of the three stumps out of the ground.

15. A bowler shall be limited to one fast short-pitched deliveries per over.
