Teacher, What About You?

During the independent learning time, one of your most participative students in class, Leo, has entered your meeting link. After greeting you, he said that he was not there to ask about the subject but because he desires to be in contact with his counselor to talk about a concern he’s been having all throughout the semester. As his teacher, what is the best thing to do?
Ask him if he would rather talk to you first and see if both of you can figure out your learner’s concern.
Give your learner the contact information or email address of WTC that they can use to reach their counselor.
Tell the learner that at their age, it is normal to experience conflicts that would bother them a lot. Encourage them to find their own answers as it will strengthen them in the long run.
