Traditional marketing steps starting with exploring the external environment
Steps for Product Development starting with research data collection such as: questionnaires
Focusing on great ideas and how to sell that to the end customer
Design Thinking consists out of 4 phases briefly mention what they are:
Design Thinking consists out of 5 steps. Explain what is meant by the first step Empathize.
Asking the customer what they want and need
Sending/mailing out questionnaires to find out what are their likes and dislikes regarding a product/service
Creating solutions to their problems
Trying to understand people, your effort is to understand the way they do things and the reasons why - physical and emotional needs
In the very first step Empathize what would be a method to collect data before doing anything else?
Questionnaires within focus groups
Blind Testing
Interviews
Questionnaires
Name all the steps of the Design Thinking process in the correct sequence
In the IDEATE stage: when is this stage successfully completed?
When your team come up with the BEST idea
When you generate many ideas that are wide, some a bit crazy, others focussed
When you focus on 1 to 3 ideas to solve your challenge
When you create the best solution possible for your problem
In the TEST phase, which is the 5th and last step/stage in Design Thinking - what is the most important factor for success?
Testing your prototype with questionnaires
Only testing your ideas for improvment
As a TEAM gain feedback on your prototype, NOT your complete solution and state lessons learned in order to improve prototype
Individual feedback sessions regarding your solution
The other method we will use in class is called SPRINT from the CEO of Google Ventures, Jake KNAPP (type of agile management, book used: How to Solve Big Problems and Test New Ideas in Just Five Days.) Explain in your own words what this is:
