TMNT Easter

You've always been a rather happy person, all around. Sure, there were sad moments here and there - heck, maybe you've even experienced depression - but you've always managed to pick yourself back up for the most part. However, things have been going rather sour. You've gotten very low income this year, and you likely will have even more money problems as time goes by. Not only that, but your family has been arguing quite often, as well.

Usually, when you hear them arguing, you....
Try to stop them in some way. I hate it when the people I care about argue.
Wait for them to stop arguing. I always end up asking them questions about it later, hoping that I'll be able to settle things.
Get out of the house. I can always come back after things have cooled off. It's never good for me to be around when they argue because I could get caught up in what they say to each other.
Ignore them. It's better to just do my own thing, separate from them, and detract myself. Getting involved would only make the matters worse, and if I'm doing my own thing, it shouldn't effect me as much.
Learn from them. I can't stop them from arguing, but I can promise myself to never argue as they do. The only productive thing I can do is listen and learn.
Try to let it slide. I'm not as successful at ignoring them as I like. I always end up getting caught up in the words, but I never say anything. For the most part, I try to stay out of it. Though I write down what I feel about this to let some sort of emotion out about it.
Would end up arguing with them. Rather I'm taking a side or not, I would end up getting caught up in the arguments with them. I would get angry, say what I need to, and then wait for their response. Sometimes they listen, but most of the time they just continue to argue.
Today happened to be one of those days. Despite how you may regularly do things when they argue, you just end you sneaking out of the house to get away from them. It's been so stressful that you can't help but run away from the scene. You need some alone time after all of the chaos. On your way down the streets, you notice a couple of people crawl down the sewers. Weird....you should probably follow them.

You know: the normal conclusion you should come to.

You plop down and when the two turn to face you, you....
Greet them with an awkward smile and wave. "Uh, hi? I'm (Y/N)...."
Freak out and scold yourself for immediately following them instead of waiting for them to pass by. "Uh, hey. I'm (Y/N)."
Step back and try to regain my composer. "Hey. I'm (Y/N)."
Finger gun them as a way to awkwardly segue into a conversation. "Yo....I'm (Y/N)"
Greet them like a normal person. As though we did not just jump down a manwhole. "Hi. I'm (Y/N)."
Try to greet them in a normal approach, but fail miserably. "Sup', I'm (Y/N)!"
Gracefully gripe the fact that we just jumped into the sewers and that there is no way to start a normal conversation. "I'm (Y/N)."
The two stare at you for a short while before glancing back to each other in an unsure manner.

"Uh, I"m Casey Jones." The boy introduced himself.

"And, I'm April." The girl said. "What are you doing down here?"

You explain to them that you saw them jump into the sewers and curiosity got the better of you. You then ask what THEY are doing down here, and you can see that they're obviously struggling to find a coherent answer.

"Uh, we...." April started.

"We came down here to look for rats!" Casey shouted out.

You skeptically ask why.

"Uh...." Casey looks around for ideas.

"For...a....experiment!" April said, seeming to come up with it on the spot.

"Yeah. A school experiment." Casey said, giving April a nod.

You tell them that they were obviously lying. They struggle to convince you that you're telling the truth, and so you offer to help them gather rats. If they're lying, then it'll get pretty awkward, but at least you'd find out the real reason.

The two look at each other with worried faces. But Casey nods his head.

As the two of them lead the way around the sewers, it becomes clearer and clearer that they're trying to lead you farther away from where they want to be. It also seems as though they're trying to distract you. One too many times, they've tried to lose you in the sewers to go off wherever it was they really wanted to be.  You vocally express this by saying....
"Look, I don't know why you're so persistent on trying to lose me, but it's becoming even more obvious that you were lying about the rat thing."
"Casey. April. Please stop trying to lose me in the sewers. It's not going to work, and we all know that after about the third time you've tried that it became rather obvious you were lying."
"Guys, let's cut to the chase. You're lying and you're not going to be able to get rid of me. Let's make this all simpler by having you tell me the truth."
"As much as I enjoy....whatever this is....can you guys just stop lying and tell me the truth already?"
Nothing. I stay quiet for a while, but each time they try something, my look gets a little more condescending. That is, until they're finally willing to say something to me.
"Not that I don't like being lied to or anything, but I don't really like being lied to...."
"Look, of you guys are going to lie to me, you should at least try and be creative about it."
"Why is this so important to you anyway?!" April asked. Good question. You just shrug.

"So, if it's not important, can't you just leave us alone?" Casey asked. "Don't you have someone looking for you or something? Someone else to annoy?"

You think for a moment. You don't quite feel like going back home to an arguing family. You shake your head and tell them they wouldn't be looking for you at the moment.

The two don't seem to know what to do. And then, April's phone rings.

"Ah, it's Don - dad!" April announced.  She answered the phone. "Heey, daad!" She laughed nervously.

"Oh, we're coming. We were coming...." She then turned around and started whispering into the phone. Most likely explaining that her and her boyfriend were followed into the sewers.

"WHAT?!" April shouted into the phone. She laughed and turned to the two of you.

"Ah, sorry."

You're not sure rather to be amused or confused, so you went with both and let a subtle smirk fall through.

April took Casey to the side and whispered some things to him. Something about actually bringing you with them, so score! The two turn to you with slightly annoyed looks.

"So, I guess you're actually coming with us now." Casey said. "Just....don't freak out."

You raise an eyebrow and say....
"Don't worry. I left behind all sense to freak out once I jumped into sewage water."
"I'll try not to."
"I don't usually freak out about things, so I think we're cool."
"What if it's the good freak out?"
"I won't."
"Exactly what is there to freak out about? Rats?"
"Deal."
You follow the two down some tunnels and pipes and ended up approaching a set of stairs. April goes ahead while Casey stays behind and stops you.

"Remember, don't freak out." He told you sternly. You gave him your word and went ahead and followed April. The place was pretty empty, from what you could tell. There was a couch sitting in front of a TV, an arcade and a table thingy. (I forgot what it's called, it's not a pool table, but it's like one? Whatever. You know what the lair looks like.) You can hear noises coming from another room. April is already heading inside.

Casey moves pass you and you follow. Once you enter the room, you can see that it's completely filled with....humanoid turtles.
"OH."
".....Interesting....." *Laughs nervously. And somewhat nonstop.*
"OH. HI. OKAY, I'M NOT FREAKING OUT."
"I quit!!"
*Clears throat* "No."
"This is horrifying! Bye!"
"Hmm....Fair point."
"Hey, I told you not to freak out!" Casey shouted at you.

"No time to argue." The red bandanna wearing one said. "It's an emergency." The purple one nodded his head.

"Just for a quick introduction, yes, we are giant turtles." He told you. "And my name is Donatello."

"Raphael." The red one said.

"I'm Michelangelo!" Another one greeted cheerfully.

"And I'm Leonardo." A blue one said.

"Yay. Glad we all know each other." Raphael sarcastically jazz handed. "Can we focus now?"

"Right." Donatello said. "April, Casey, we need your help. We have to confront the Foot."

"They took Splinter." Leonardo explained. "We're not even sure what they want. They just told us to meet them there."

"We need you two to come with us." Donatello said. "Hide in the shadows and attack if we need help."

"Okay, what about them?" Casey threw his thumb at you.

"It doesn't matter." Leonardo said. "Just so long as they don't get in the way."

Thankfully, and mostly because this is a quiz and you need to stick in the story, your family actually knows a good amount of combat and has been teaching you for about three years now. You tell them that you're actually pretty well trained in....
Aikido - Japanese origin. A modern Japanese martial art developed by Morihei Ueshiba as a synthesis of his martial studies, philosophy and religious beliefs. Ueshiba's goal was to create an art that practitioners could use to defend themselves while also protecting their attacker from injury. Aikido is often translated as "the way of unifying (with) life energy" or as "the way of harmonious spirit". Aikido's techniques include: irimi (entering), and tenkan (turning) movements (that redirect the opponent's attack momentum), various types of throws and joint locks.
Modern Arnis - Philippians origin. A Filipino fighting arts founded by Remy Presas as a self-defense system. His goal was to create an injury-free training method as well as an effective self-defense system in order to preserve the older Arnis systems. The term Modern Arnis was used by Remy Presas' younger brother Ernesto Presas to describe his style of Filipino martial arts; since 1999 Ernesto Presas has called his system Kombatan. It is derived principally from the traditional Presas family style of the Bolo (machete) and the stick-dueling art of Balintawak Eskrima, with influences from other Filipino and Japanese martial arts.
Baguazhang - Chinese origin. One of the three main Chinese martial arts of the Wudang school, the other two being Taijiquan and Xing Yi Quan. It is more broadly grouped as an internal practice (or neijia quan). Bāguà zhǎng literally means "eight trigram palm," referring to the trigrams of the I Ching (Yijing), one of the canons of Taoism.
Boxing - Prehistoric origin. A combat sport in which two people, usually wearing protective gloves, throw punches at each other for a predetermined amount of time in a boxing ring. (Fun Fact: There's something called "Chess Boxing" which is where people switch between playing chess and boxing.)
Brazilian Jiu-jitsu - Brazil origin. a martial art and combat sport system that focuses on grappling with particular emphasis on ground fighting. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu was developed from Kodokan judo ground fighting (newaza) fundamentals that were taught by a number of Japanese individuals including Takeo Yano, Mitsuyo Maeda, Soshihiro Satake, and Isao Okano. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu eventually came to be its own defined combat sport through the innovations, practices, and adaptation of judo. BJJ is founded on the concept that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend themselves against a bigger, stronger, heavier opponent. This is done by using technique, leverage, and most notably, taking the fight to the ground, and then applying joint locks and chokeholds to defeat the opponent.
Capoeira - Brazil origin. An Afro-Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance, acrobatics, and music. It was developed by African slaves in Brazil at the beginning of the 16th century. It is known for its quick and complex maneuvers, predominantly using power, speed, and leverage across a wide variety of kicks, spins, and other techniques.
Catch-As-Can-Catch - Unknown origin. A basic wrestling style in which nearly all holds and tactics are permitted in both upright and ground wrestling. Rules usually forbid only actions that may injure an opponent, such as strangling, kicking, gouging, and hitting with a closed fist. The object is to force the opponent into a position in which both shoulders touch the ground at the same time. (I honestly just put this one down because I like the fact that it's named after "Catch as can catch" which means you take whatever opportunity that you can get and use it.)
Fencing - Italian origin. A group of three related combat sports. The three disciplines in modern fencing are the foil, the épée, and the sabre; winning points are made through the contact with an opponent. A fourth discipline, singlestick, appeared in the 1904 Olympics but was dropped after that, and is not a part of modern fencing. Fencing was one of the first sports to be played in the Olympics. Based on the traditional skills of swordsmanship, the modern sport arose at the end of the 19th century, with the Italian school having modified the historical European martial art of classical fencing, and the French school later refining the Italian system. There are three forms of modern fencing, each of which uses a different kind of weapon and has different rules; thus the sport itself is divided into three competitive scenes: foil, épée, and sabre. Most competitive fencers choose to specialize in one weapon only. (Okay, I thought the three different thingies were cool, so for those who are interested, foil is using a light thrusting weapon has a small circular hand guard that protects the hand from getting stabbed. The goal of foil is to touch the torso, but not the arms or legs. The épée is a thrusting weapon like the foil, but heavier.  In épée, the entire body is valid target. The hand guard on the épée is a large circle that extends towards the pommel, effectively covering the hand, which IS a valid target in épée. [In foil, the hand is not a valid target.]  The sabre is a light cutting and thrusting weapon that targets the entire body above the waist, except the weapon hand. Sabre is the only one that's allowed to hit with the entire blade, the other two have to hit with the point of the blade.)
Glimba - Iceland origin. The name that covers several types of Nordic folk wrestling practiced as sport and combat. In one common form of glima, players grip their opponent by the waist and attempt to throw them to the ground using technique rather than force. Other variants allow for more aggression.
Hapkido - Korea origin. A highly eclectic Korean martial art. It is a form of self-defense that employs joint locks, grappling, and throwing techniques similar to those of other martial arts, as well as kicks, punches, and other striking attacks. It also teaches the use of traditional weapons, including knife, sword, rope, ssang juhl bong (nunchaku), cane (ji pang ee), short stick (dan bong), and middle-length staff (joong bong, gun (analogous to the Japanese jō), and bō (Japanese), which vary in emphasis depending on the particular tradition examined. Hapkido employs both long-range and close-range fighting techniques, utilizing jumping kicks and percussive hand strikes at longer ranges, and pressure point strikes, joint locks, and throws at closer fighting distances. Hapkido emphasizes circular motion, redirection of force, and control of the opponent. Practitioners seek to gain advantage over their opponents through footwork and body positioning to incorporate the use of leverage, avoiding the use of brute strength against brute strength.
Iaido - Japan origin. A Japanese martial art that emphasizes being aware and capable of quickly drawing the sword and responding to a sudden attack. Iaido is associated with the smooth, controlled movements of drawing the sword from its scabbard (or saya), striking or cutting an opponent, removing blood from the blade, and then replacing the sword in the scabbard. While beginning practitioners of iaido may start learning with a wooden sword (bokken) depending on the teaching style of a particular instructor, most of the practitioners use the blunt edged sword, called iaitō. Few, more experienced, iaido practitioners use a sharp edged sword (shinken). Practitioners of iaido are often referred to as iaidoka.
Judo - Japan origin. originally created in 1882 by Jigoro Kano (嘉納治五郎) as a physical, mental, and moral pedagogy in Japan. It is generally categorized as a modern martial art, which later evolved into a combat and Olympic sport. Its most prominent feature is its competitive element, where the objective is to either throw or takedown an opponent to the ground, immobilize or otherwise subdue an opponent with a pin, or force an opponent to submit with a joint lock or a choke. Strikes and thrusts by hands and feet as well as weapons defenses are a part of judo, but only in pre-arranged forms (kata, 形) and are not allowed in judo competition or free practice (randori, 乱取り). A judo practitioner is called a judoka.
Kalaripayattu - Indian origin. An Indian martial art and fighting system that originated in Tamil Nadu and practiced by warriors of Kerala. These warriors belonged to all castes and religions. It is considered by some to be the oldest martial art still in existence, with its origin dating back to the 3rd century BCE. Kalaripayattu is often called the mother of all martial arts. Northern styles focus more on flexibility while southern styles focus more on technique.
Karate - Japan origin. a martial art developed in the Ryukyu Kingdom. It developed from the indigenous Ryukyuan martial arts (called te (手), "hand"; tii in Okinawan) under the influence of Chinese Kung Fu, particularly Fujian White Crane. Karate is now predominantly a striking art using punching, kicking, knee strikes, elbow strikes and open-hand techniques such as knife-hands, spear-hands and palm-heel strikes. Historically, and in some modern styles, grappling, throws, joint locks, restraints and vital-point strikes are also taught. A karate practitioner is called a karateka.
Kickboxing - Japan origin. A group of stand-up combat sports based on kicking and punching, historically developed from karate mixed with boxing. Kickboxing is practiced for self-defence, general fitness, or as a contact sport.
Kung-fu - China origin. Funnily enough, I couldn't find anything about it other than there are several movies that use kung-fu. Tbf, I'm just using simple searches, but I'm going by a list that I found and I REALLY want to get through it. So let's just assume that you already know what this is all about and move on.
Naginatajustu - Japan origin. The Japanese martial art of wielding the naginata (長刀). This is a weapon resembling the medieval European glaive. Most naginatajutsu practiced today is in a modernized form, a gendai budō, in which competitions also are held. (Pole weapon, for those who are confused. Most notably, a pole weapon with a blade.)
Paintball - Unknown origin. (Probably came from some weirdo in America, let's be honest.) a competitive team shooting sport in which players eliminate opponents from play by hitting them with spherical dye-filled gelatin capsules ("paintballs") that break upon impact. Paintballs are usually shot using a low-energy air weapon called a paintball marker that is powered by compressed air (nitrogen) or carbon dioxide and was originally designed for remotely marking trees and cattle. The game was initially developed in May 1981 for recreation, but now is frequently played at a formal sporting level with organized competition that involves major tournaments, professional teams, and players. Paintball technology is also used by military forces, law enforcement, paramilitary and security organizations to supplement military or other training. Paintball markers can play a role in riot response and nonlethal suppression of dangerous suspects.
Taekwondo - Korean origin. (Fun fact: I actually use to take a Taekwondo class, and I have forgotten everything about it. Lol, but I do remember how we were instructed and stuff, which is kind of important when writing about it?) A Korean martial art, characterized by its emphasis on head-height kicks, jumping and spinning kicks, and fast kicking techniques.
Guns! - Different origins, depending on the gun. There just weren't that many gun ones. The only gun one was paintball, and if you wanted to be all like, "Dude, I like shooting stuff with real bullets" then you'd be forced to choose paintball, but now you can just choose this one instead! All of the others were all hand-to-hand combat or fighting using wooden weapons or swords, so I wanted to put this here for variety. Also, sometimes, you just want to shoot stuff. Also, if you are all like, "But what about brass knuckles, HMMM", well, one, they're illegal, so MREEEHHH. But also you can just choose this and this answer can just be a "Guns/Brass Knuckles/other". Which, guns and brass knuckles aren't really a style, but neither is hockey, so I don't care. You want an ax? HERE, HAVE AN AX! You wanna plummet people to death with a hammer? HERE YOU GO, USE THAT HAMMER! You wanna drug people and then bring them in so you can test out different methods of torture? WELP, HERE YOU GO, SICKO, YOU NOW HAVE THE PRIVILEGE!
"I guess they are useful." You wasn't completely sure that you liked the tone of Raphael's voice. April rolled her eyes at him and then approached you.

"Don't worry about him." April told you. "He's just being Raph. I think it's pretty cool you're trained. Besides, we'll probably need back up."

"You're like a secret weapon!" Michelangelo cheered. "The Foot won't know what hit em'!"

"If we even need to hit them." Leonardo pointed out. "They didn't say rather or not they wanted to fight."

"If they don't, then it's pretty obvious we have something that they want." Donatello said. "But what? I mean, they didn't even tell us to bring anything in exchange."

"Is anyone carrying anything they found recently?" April asked. They all shake their heads. Well, except Michelangelo, who seemed to be in deep thought.

"Well, there's only one way to find out, I suppose...." Donatello muttered to himself.

"I say we just run in and crash the party." Casey said. "If they have Splinter, then they deserve it."

"I'm with ya', Casey." Raphael said. "But we already agreed to go about this stealthily." Leonardo nodded his head.

"We'll have you and April waiting in the shadows." He looked to you. "And I suppose you can go with them."

"Wait, what was your name again?" April asked. "Was is (Y/N)?"

You nod your head. Or just say yes, it doesn't really matter.

"Who cares, lets just go!" Raphael went ahead and started walking. The rest of you follow. On the way to the meeting spot, you....
Stay silent and listen to the others talk. Maybe offer a few opinions here and there, but for the most part, I'm just looking around.
Look around at my surroundings. See if I can spot anything around me that's useful.
Don't start any conversations, but once I start offering my opinions, I stay in them.
Start some small talk and get to know everyone.
Start the small talk, but end up being the listener instead of the one talking. I try to keep an eye out for anything around us.
Ask questions about the turtles to either Casey or April in whispers. How they got like this, where they came from, ect.
Try to think about different things you could do to help. Eventually, I'd engage in some sort of conversation and maybe ask a few questions.
You arrive at the meeting grounds. It seems to be an isolated spot in New York that not many people walk by. The sun is already setting and you know that your family must be looking for you. Surely, they've stopped arguing by now, at least. The entire place is empty, and you guess that the Foot just hasn't arrived yet.

What an odd name. Of two or more are together, do they call themselves Feet?

No sooner did you think THAT sinful thought did the foot clan walk up. They seemed to be just normal guys in suits, though. Between two of them was a rolling cage with a giant human-like rat in the center. That must be Splinter.

You're not on the ground, of course, but up in an abandoned building with Casey and April. Each of you are in a different room. This way, if one of you gets spotted, you still have the upper hand when it comes to surprises. Even if they guess that April and Casey are together, they're not going to remember you as being one of the three.

You count eight in all. Two with Splinter, three in front, and three in the back. You can tell that one of them is speaking while the turtles listen. Mikey then pulls out....wait.

Isn't that your family heirloom? It's a golden egg with jewels plastered all over it.

You always assumed it was fake, of course. It was something passed down from grandfather to father. It was later passed down to your grandmother, who gave it to your (Guardian) for safekeeping. It was always passed down to the next in line on Easter and it always sat in a glass box in your (Guardian)'s bedroom closet. You remember then getting rather angry that it went missing a few days ago. They even accused you of stealing it, but when they searched around, there was nothing to be found.
Of course, you're automatically furious and even think about going down there, but you know that you have to stick to the plan.
They all talk to each other. The turtles get defensive and soon enough, a battle has broken lose.
Just as planned, April and Casey go down, first. You're suppose to stay hidden unless they absolutely need you. The two catch the other members off guard and April is able to get to the cage. She can't open it, though. Thankfully, there's nothing like brute force, and Raphael comes along and basically breaks the lock.
Splinter walks out and immediately takes down everyone around them. A few more swarm in here and there, and you can't even count them all, but they're easily taken care of.
It looks as though they're being questioned by Splinter. You go ahead and walk out of the building. No need to make a grand entrance when the fight is already over.
As soon as you walk out, though, the remaining solider is unmasked.
It's your guardian.
You immediately attempt to run to them, but you're stopped by the turtles. You call out that person's name.
You run at them, asking what they're doing with this gang. (You're later informed that this is actually a clan.) You're stopped by the turtles, though.
You slowly walk to them, calling out the person's name in a question. You ask them what they are doing.
You slowly walk to them. When they see you, you lock eye contact. They shake their head. You're about to walk up and touch them, you're already reaching, but then you stop yourself and back away.
You walk up to them quickly, double checking to make sure. You whisper their name to yourself, unable to believe it's them.
You walk up to them quickly. You run what to say over and over again in your head, but you have no idea how to even begin.
You stop in your tracks. You squint. Maybe you're wrong? But then you get closer, and with each step you take you realize that you're not. Once you arrive, you lock eyes with them.
"(Y/N)?" They gave you a painful look.

"You KNOW them?" Raphael looked between you and your (Guardian).

"Who is this?" Splinter asked the others.

"They followed us, Sensei." April explained. "We didn't have time, and -"

"It's okay." Splinter told her. He eyes you up and down questionably. Wondering if you're a bad guy, maybe?

"(Y/N), what are you doing here?" Your (Guardian) asked. You only shake your head.

You ask what'd going on.

"I....didn't want to have to explain this." They tell you. "Not until you were ready.

And now....well, just look at you! You're surrounded by the enemy! Do you even know them, what they've done!?"

You didn't. But you also didn't know what your [Guardian] has done.

You ask them if this is why your family has been struggling. If your money was going into this stupid Foot Gang!

"Actually, it's a clan." Donatello informed you. You ignore him and stare your (Guardian) down.

They don't answer.

After a while, they look up at you. "Because you are my family, I'm going to let you go. But I have to report this to the others."

You shout that you want answers. They flinch.

"You'll find them. Under my bed. In a box. Don't let me find you at the house."

You shake your head.

"Do you understand?"
"No. I don't understand."
You only nod once.
[A/N: Hey guys! It's Hourglass here, and I would like to say thank you for choosing this quiz to take. HOWEVER!! I would like to point out a little something, because I actually stole the whole "TMNT Easter Quiz" idea from someone. That someone is R I V E R and they have some of the better TMNT quizzes out there. Trust me, I shamelessly take a lot of them. Maybe I should be a bit more shameful, but this is Quotev, and we all know that you don't come to Quotev with pride. But, seriously, they've got some awesome quizzes, including their own Easter Quiz that you should totally check out!]

(Note: Their Easter Quiz isn't out yet, but they still have a bunch of other good ones.)

They simply stare at you for a while longer. You can tell that they're trying not to falter. They then looked at Splinter.

"Are you going to try to kill me?"

You give the rat a worried glance, but he shakes his head.

"I do not kill." He told them.

"Will you follow me if I leave?"

"Who said you get to leave?" Raphael started to angrily walk towards them, but Splinter stopped him by calling his name.

"We can not hold them prisoner." Splinter said.

"Right. No one can know about your head quarters." April explained.

And then Casey went up behind your (Guardian) and hit them over the head with a baseball bat. You're taken by surprise and stare at the boy with a, "What they heck?" look.

"They said not to catch you sneaking around your house, right?" Casey asked. "Well, I figured knocking them out would give you enough time to gather your stuff and leave."

You nod your head slowly. You glance at your (Guardian) one last time. Splinter puts a hand on your shoulder.

"Do you have anywhere to go?" He asked. You shake your head. Your family all lived together under one roof, which is why it was so stressful at times. Had you known that (Guardian) was part of this clan, and most likely the others, then maybe you would have understood more than before. How they argue and why. What it would be exactly about.

The more you think about it, the more clear to you that it seemed like they were hiding something all along. But they're your family. You could never doubt them. Not until now.

Splinter looks at the others.

"They can stay with me." April insisted. "I don't think Dad will mind, given the circumstance."

"They're welcome at my place, too." Casey said. "Though, I guess it'll be weird with them around."

"You're also welcome to stay with us." Splinter told you.

"There's a lot of room." Donatello said. "And you'll get use to the smell."

"Whatever you choose." Splinter told you. But you only shake your head.
"I'd rather be by myself." You say. "I know a building not too far from where my family is. At least I could keep an eye on them."
"Thank you, but," You say. "I don't want to trouble anyone. There's an abandoned building near where my family lives. I can look out for them from there. And it would be easy to move to."
"Don't worry." You tell them. "I know a good place to hide out at. I can even keep a watch on my family."
"That's nice of everyone, but," You say. "I'd feel more comfortable on my own for now. Heck, maybe this is all one adventure, right?" You pause. "I can watch over my family from a good spot. They won't even find me."
"There's a building not too far from the house." You explain. "I can just watch my family from there."
You don't say anything for a while. You only think. "I can live....somewhere else. A building near my old house."
You don't say anything for a while. You think and then smile. "Thanks, but I think I know where I can go."

Sure, there were sad moments here and there - heck, maybe you've even experienced depression - but you've always managed to pick yourself back up for the most part. However, things have been going rather sour. You've gotten very low income this year, and you likely will have even more money problems as time goes by. Not only that, but your family has been arguing quite often, as well.   Usually, when you hear them arguing, you...., Today happened to be one of those days. Despite how you may regularly do things when they argue, you just end you sneaking out of the house to get away from them. It's been so stressful that you can't help but run away from the scene. You need some alone time after all of the chaos. On your way down the streets, you notice a couple of people crawl down the sewers. Weird....you should probably follow them. You know: the normal conclusion you should come to.   You plop down and when the two turn to face you, you...., The two stare at you for a short while before glancing back to each other in an unsure manner. \"Uh, I\"m Casey Jones.\" The boy introduced himself.   \"And, I'm April.\" The girl said. \"What are you doing down here?\"   You explain to them that you saw them jump into the sewers and curiosity got the better of you. You then ask what THEY are doing down here, and you can see that they're obviously struggling to find a coherent answer.   \"Uh, we....\" April started.    \"We came down here to look for rats!\" Casey shouted out.   You skeptically ask why.   \"Uh....\" Casey looks around for ideas.   \"For...a....experiment!\" April said, seeming to come up with it on the spot.   \"Yeah. A school experiment.\" Casey said, giving April a nod.   You tell them that they were obviously lying. They struggle to convince you that you're telling the truth, and so you offer to help them gather rats. If they're lying, then it'll get pretty awkward, but at least you'd find out the real reason.   The two look at each other with worried faces. But Casey nods his head.     As the two of them lead the way around the sewers, it becomes clearer and clearer that they're trying to lead you farther away from where they want to be. It also seems as though they're trying to distract you. One too many times, they've tried to lose you in the sewers to go off wherever it was they really wanted to be.  You vocally express this by saying....","img":"https://www.quiz-maker.com/3012/images/ogquiz.png"}
