163 respondents finds it important to improve the search results. Users argue, that it can be difficult, to search for articles on specific subjects.

 

 

Search results also involves searching for people in the Phonebook. Users explain, that they often use Skype or Outlook to search for people, as it is quicker and more simple.

A majority of the respondents argue that they primarily use it for: Global news (341 respondents), local news (262) and business services (230).

 

Respondents answered that they also use ECCOnet for purposes as: HR-services, access to other tools, to search for colleagues, company announcements and procedures/policies.

The majority of the workshop participants, chose the words "not logical" to describe their experience on ECCOnet. Some argued that this is based on the navigation (I need to) and categorization of the general content.

Other common words were: Slow, modern, functional and professional.

2 groups were able to find the course catalogue on ECCOnet. The participants stated, that it wasn't transparent, where the learning portal should be placed. Some argued that they were confused by the overall navigation, some would rather place it on the front page and some preferred a short cut.

 

Only a few participants had used it before, however, they all found it relevant and would consider using it in the future.
