People Perception of Difference Form of Value

My name is Natnaree Angklomkliew, I am an undergraduate student at DigiPen Institute of Technology. I am conducting this research under the supervision of Dr. Chris Hawk, from the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences.

You are being invited to participate in this research study about people's perceptions of different forms of number. I am interested to learn more about how different people perceive the number in integer form (normal number) and in percentage form. Being in this study is optional.

If you choose to be in the study, you will be asked to complete a survey and a quiz, which should take approximately 5 minutes of your time.

You can skip questions that you do not want to answer or stop the survey at any time. The survey is anonymous, and no one will be able to link your answers back to you. Please do not include your name or other information that could be used to identify you in the survey responses. You will not be paid for being in this study.

Questions? Please contact Natnaree Angklomkliew at natnaree.a@digipen.edu. If you have questions or concerns about your rights as a research participant, you can contact Dr. Hawk at christopher.hawk@digipen.edu.

The next part is the test.

Each question will be present at a time. You have 5 seconds to answer. It will present you the percentage number and the number for calculating on the left side and the integer (normal) number on the right side. You have to choose the side that has greater value.

Please try to answer every question within the time limit. If you could not finish calculating in time, that is fine. Please choose the answer that you feel is the correct answer.
