How many Army Cadets are there in the UK?
I will not rest until every 12 to 18 year old has access to a detachment!
Hundreds of thousands because once an Army Cadet, always an army cadet!
Thirty seven thousand.
One hundred and twenty thousand.
How many CFAV are there in the Army Cadets?
Nine thousand
There’s a CFAV in all of us waiting to come out.
It changes all the time, so it’s impossible to say exactly.
Why are the questions just about Army Cadets, why are you leaving out the other Cadet Forces?
There are 32 thousand reservists in the UK. But what is the churn of reservists; how many people leave the Reserves and are replaced with new joiners?
It’s normal to have churn, and we’re grateful to those men and women who served.
32,000... Take away x...Carry the 1... Roughly 6,000.
It’s about 15%, which is also the number of people who have accidentally taken their phone into the shower.
If there was less churn, we’d end up with too many reservists; people’s ability and willingness to serve changes as they go through life.
