A NFT (or non-fungible token) is a unique or non-interchangeable data stored on the blockchain. Basically a NFT can be represented by a picture or a video on the blockchain.

 

NFTs are valuable if they have an awesome project that supports them or if they are used inside an awesome project.

 

So how The Crims can use NFTs? Here are some examples of what we can replace with an NFT:

- avatars

- medals/skulls

- winners or top 5 can also be awarded 1 NFT each

- etc.

 

What are the benefits?
1. Cool visuals for each player.

2. Can be awarded for free by admins or bought from the blockchain directly from TC or from other players.
3. Can be traded between players so the community is reponsible for setting the price.
4. Can become collectibles and value more if sold in the following years.

 

Example 1: Every time i collect money from hookers I have a 1% chance I get awarded a NFT (once per day). The chance gets cumulated each day. What does this do? I can choose to collect daily with 1% chance or I can wait 1 week and collect once with 7% chance.

 

Example 2: Let's say i don't want the default avatars from the game, and instead of that i want a 3D skull NFT as my avatar.

There will be 10k skull avatars available and each of it will be unique (each will have an unique score - the higher the score, the more valuable). 

I can buy this NFT from another player, if someone is selling it, or I can mint it from TC. 
Buy: If Mike bought it from TC and then I buy it from Mike, then i will be able to see what i'm buying. I will see how it looks like and i will see the rarity score.

Mint: If i mint it from TC, that means some random avatar from those 10k will be given to me. I can't see what it looks like, i can't see its rarity score. I will be given a random NFT. It can have 1000 rarity score, or it can have 100. Depends on my luck.

PS: NFTs can also add bonuses to the game. Example, using the skull NFT as avatar can give you 1% extra production to buildings.

 

Bottom line, we want everybody to benefit from the game, not just the winners. Introducing NFTs means new potential players which leads to a higher prize pool. Also, introducing NFTs, means every player can get one that with time gets more valuable. Also, introducing NFTS, means we open a new market for the community, where players can trade between them or even sell outside of TC.

If you have an NFT, you own it, you decide how much you sell it for, you decide if you want to sell it inside TC community or outside of it.

I know this might sound a bit too much for some of you, but you will eventually start to understand it.
