What exiverse character are you?

You enter a dark, JPEG-artifacted forest for an evening walk. As you venture deeper into the woods you begin hearing strange sounds from inside the holes of trees and from above you in the forest canopy. A goblin approaches you with a question.

"favorite color"

You tell the creature your favorite color and move on, thinking nothing of the encounter.

You reach a fork in the road. Which way do you go?

You choose your direction, content to stick with it, but you begin second guessing yourself as the path becomes harder to traverse.

It's a good thing you chose to do that; the path is much easier to traverse now. You begin to enjoy your walk when a booming voice emits from the shadows to your left, producing a question.

"favorite animal?"

You scream your favorite animal back at the abyss. It howls in pain and stops bothering you. You continue along the path triumphantly.

A small river blocks your path.

You manage to finish hiking the path somehow. As you emerge on the other side of the forest you realize that civilization as you know it has warped into a horrible mockery of its former self. Towers are warped sideways, making loop-de-loops into the horizon and infinity, animating through the air. Sidewalks snake from side to side and sprawl into the streets filled with chaotic traffic. You look back to the forest behind you and feel an eerie presence; something is watching you and is very happy that you left.

You approach the insane scenery with caution. As the skyscrapers extend onwards and fly past above you can hear the terrified screams of their occupants. Bodies fly out of the buildings above you, doing flips in the air and landing somewhere in this cursed city. Before you realize it someone has snuck up behind you.

"Don't turn around," whispers the voice. "Continue walking, following the sidewalk. You will reach a McDonald's building. Enter it. My friend will be waiting."

You follow the winding sidewalk through the civilization of hell until you reach the McDonalds as foretold.

A man greets you from the McDonalds counter. It must be the one who you were told about. He's somewhat tall, wearing a McDonald's uniform with a peppy smile and welcoming posture. "What would you like to order?"

"Sure thing." You take a seat as the man leaves for a moment, staring at the world gone mad before you. He returns with your food and his own (two double cheeseburgers, no pickles). The two of you enjoy your food in silence until you've both finished. Eventually he speaks up. "How was your last meal? We're both going to die soon; the heart of the city will soon stop pumping blood through the musculature of our rotting reality. Physics will retake its hold and we will collapse on ourselves."

"Oh, me? My name is True. I'm a memory trader and traveler of the multiverse, and I /am/ scared of death. It's just going to be a little while before this pocket collapses, so I'm enjoying my time. I don't know what you're talking about, I don't have any friends here, unless you mean--"

The McDonald's doors suddenly fly open. The man sitting with you is already on the move before you can turn around, covering his face with his shirt sleeve and making a move towards the back counter. You turn to see who it is, and catch a glimpse of a man in a white labcoat and gasmask launching a grenade in your direction.

You have died somehow. Perhaps a mistake lead you here or it was simply your time to go. How do you feel?
