Read the following passage and answer the question:
The Architecture Miracle of Abu Simbel
What is more magnificent than spending a day in one of the most charming cities in Egypt? Egypt is well known of its glamorous land marks and monuments and the beauty of its cities and governorates. Each place in Egypt has its own kind of beauty and charm. Aswan is one of those cities that have a very special kind of beauty. When I visited Aswan for the first time I was very astonished by its significant archaeological sites and, its warm and peaceful weather. One of those significant and great places is Abu Simbel.
Abu Simbel is one of the most places that I was impressed of when I visited Aswan. The trip to the temple took about three hours, but it never felt that long as I was very overwhelmed by the beauty of the country throughout the trip. When I arrived to the place, it was another kind of beauty. As I was told: Abu Simbel is a huge complex of two temples the first one is huge and it is dedicated to the Egyptian king Ramses 2, while the second one is small and it is dedicated to the king’s favourite wife Nefertari. When you once look at the huge temple you will find four huge statues Ramses, Rah, Ammon and Ptah which reflect the hugeness of the ancient Egypt architecture. Actually it was an art! Those statues also reflect the power and the strength of the Egyptian kings at that time. By entering the temple there are four chambers made for the king and other family members and a sacred room. The most impressive part about this temple is that this sacred room remains dark all the years except in two days. The first day is 22nd of February, the day where Ramses took the throne, and the other day is 22nd of October, his birth day. I considered it as a miracle. It makes me wonder how the Egyptians at that time were pioneers in every field of life. I was not surprised to know that people come from all over the world to see this happening.
At the end, I want to say that this trip was one of the trips that I will never forget, and I want to encourage all people whether they are Egyptians or tourists to go and visit Aswan and specially Abu Simbel temple, and I promise them to have a an unforgettable trip as I did.
