What is necessary to maintain a strong military?

The military is a key component to a strong national defence system. The military must be ready for mass destruction and must be lethal, readily deployable, and also requires logistical support. The military should have a larger budget in order to make sure our military is as strong as possible.

The military defense budget should be cut down, along with military size. Active soldiers should have increased wages, and a veterans’s retirement should be reevaluated to support a better housing, childcare, and healthcare system for the retired soldiers.

The government wants to cut military spending in half and just focus on defending the US, but still keep necessary weapons to protect the United States.

The U.S. Should cut military spending in half over the next ten years. Congress should take away almost all of the military budget and pull a majority of soldiers. The U.S. Needs to focus on peace with other nations, not war.
