Approach them and try to strike up a conversation.

Passively continue staring at them with a blank look on your face.
Wait for them to do something.
You see three treasure chests at the end of your dungeon crawling... One is silver, one is gold, and one is lead. Which do you open?
Gold is worth lots of money, so I'd pick Gold!
Silver. I'm not worthy of what's in the gold chest/I'll settle for what's in the Silver Chest.
Lead. The other chests may be a trap in disguise.
The chests themselves do not matter, it's what is inside that matters.
One of your party members is caught stealing one of your personal items. How do you react?
Kill him, he stole from me!
Demand the item back, plus compensation.
Justice will fall on him at some point, doesnt mean I have to be the one to bestow it upon him.
To gain his own trust, you ask for only that item back and just keep an eye on him.
Let him keep it, it wasn't that big of a deal anyway.
You walk into a room and the door shuts behind you. Before you realize what's happening, holes in the ceiling start flooding the room with water. What do you do?
Try to break the Door.

Try to burrow into the next room.

Try to help them myself.
Try to find some gear to help them out or find some help.
Bury them alive.
