Responsibility is up to you:
Coaching won't work, you must make it work. Just like having a personal trainer at the gym. The amount of effort you put in is directly proportional to the results you get out. To get results you must take action.

As a client, I understand and agree that I am fully responsible for my own wellbeing throughout the coaching relationship, including my choices and my decisions.

I understand that coaching is a comprehensive process that may involve all areas of mylife, my work, and my relationships. I acknowledge that I decided how to handle these issues and implement my choices. My coach is my guide, not my decision-maker.

I understand that coaching is not a substitute for professional advice in the matters of finances, legal, medical, or business issues. I will seek the appropriate expertise as I need and agree that all decisions in these areas are exclusively my own. I take full responsibility for my decisions and my actions.

Challenges:
If either of us is thinking there is a challenge with the coaching, we agree to bring it up with one another and resolve it. We don't do hidden agendas, unspoken hurts, or misunderstanding. We just say it.

I agree to speak up and raise any challenges with my coach as they arise.

Coaching Standards:

As an associate member of The International Coaches Guild (ICG) I am bound by and follow a set of coaching ethics and core competencies. I commit to uphold these standards throughout our coaching. Including undertaking professional development.

Other Therapy:
I recognize that coaching is not a substitute for therapy, counseling, or psychotherapy.

I understand that coaching does not diagnose or treat any mental disorders and I will not use coaching as a replacement for any form of therapy. If I am with a professional therapist, I agree to disclose this to my coach. If at any time I feel that professional therapy is a better alternative I will inform my coach and I will accept the same in return.

Confidentiality

I understand that what is discussed within the coaching relationship is considered confidential, and will not be discussed with anyone else unless I agree, except where required by law.

Investment:

Payments are made prior to our sessions. Monthly invoices will allow for payment via Direct Bank Deposit.

Rescheduling:
To avoid full fee charged for the missed session, rescheduling or cancellations should be made at least 24 hours before the booked time.

I agree to the payment terms set out in this agreement.

In between sessions:

You may require 'laser coaching' in between our regular sessions. You may have a challenge, need someone to brainstorm with, or have a win you want to share. I enjoy providing this additional support, and there is no charge for this. I ask that you keep these messages to the point and highly focused, please.
