We here at ABAKiS are huge fans of ABA, because as parents of autistic children we've all seen first-hand the tremendous, life-changing benefits ABA has had for our kiddos. We know it works. ABAKiS was founded with the sole intent of helping families get the most out of their ABA programs.

But right now, ABA is under increasing attack from fear and misinformation campaigns. So we feel it's important to speak plainly. ABA works. It's scientifically proven. But some people have abused the science to inflict harm on vulnerable children. Many victims of poor ABA practices are now speaking out against ABA as a whole.

We hope that you can understand that ABA itself is an effective method of teaching important skills, and place criticism where it belongs - against abusive malpractice, not against ABA itself.
