Passwords are the locks on your front door. Ensure you have strong passwords that consist of at least one uppercase, lowercase, symbol and number. Two factor authentications are that extra layer of defence to the authentication process, making it harder for attackers to access your devices and accounts.

Text messages are a common tactic for scammers and known as SMS Phishing. Watch out for these signs:
  • Sender is claiming to be from a legitimate company
  • Create a sense of urgency
  • Often include no contact details
  • Contain links to fake websites

It is important to remember to never respond or enter your bank details after clicking on a link in a text message.
