Guidelines for Document Verification *
The documents produced by the resident/NRI for Aadhaar enrolment/ update must be in the list of approved documents.
You should reject verification, if you suspect forged/altered documents.
You should Verify Name, Date of Birth, Address, and Relationship Details against PoI, DoB, PoA, PoR, respectively.

UIDAI has issued standard certificate format . This format is for certification issued by officials/ institutions (only those that are recognized in the UIDAI’s valid list of documents) for all supporting documents. *
Name of the issuing authority is mandatory on the certificate as prescribed in the format.
Photograph of resident /NRI cross signed and cross stamped by the issuing authority is mandatory on the certificate.
All the details of the issuing authority should be available on the certificate as prescribed in the format for cross verification if required.

Address/POA verification GUIDELINES *
In case if village name and district/sub district name are matching, then PIN may be ignored.
In case if village name and pincode are matching, then district/sub district name may be ignored.
If the proof document does not contain State/Pin Code, but other details are matching, Its OK.

DoB verification GUIDELINES *
At the time of Aadhaar enrolment, resident who submits prescribed document for date of birth, his/her date of birth is recorded as Verified. In case resident do not provide any prescribed proof document for Date of Birth, his/her date of birth is recorded as declared or approximate.
For update of date of birth, resident is required to submit any of the prescribed documents to prove date of Birth.

Operator/Supervisors may be blacklisted for a period of 6 months to 5 years depending upon the nature of error made.
