Enlarged heart
Turbulent blood flow heard over the carotid artery
When an individual in cardiac arrest is shocked with a controlled electrical rhythm,
A normal heart rate and rhythm.
Sensations of abnormal heart rate including sensation of skipped or extra beats or that the heart is “racing”
Swelling of the feet
Enlarged aorta due to weakened aortic wall
A slowing of the heart rate to less than 50 beats per minute.
Sweating. Can be a sign of an MI.
An abnormally high concentration of calcium in the blood.
Low blood pressure
Fast heart rate (resting heart rate is greater than 100 beats per minute)
